ABOUT CRAWFORD ARCHITECTURE
Crawford Architecture is a design-led architectural practice working on a diverse range of projects throughout Ireland from our offices in Sligo, Cork and Dublin. Our experienced team of architects and architectural technologists have particular experience within the residential and commercial sector. Our current workload includes projects of varying typology and scale from strategic planning and feasibility to detail design and construction.
We are at the forefront of the residential sector, working with large commercial developers to provide contemporary apartments and houses at the cutting edge of residential design. We take inspiration from emerging residential trends and successful established schemes both within Ireland and Europe-wide, while also acknowledging the vernacular. We undertake rigorous analysis to understand what works and how that can be applied to the local context.
We provide a specialist technical service related to building regulation compliance and fire remediation works to existing residential and commercial buildings. We work with experienced consultants and trusted contractors with a proven track record in this specialised sector.
We undertake pre-acquisition due diligence, site inspection and monitoring roles on works to existing and new build residential and commercial projects for large commercial clients. This specialised work requires a strong emphasis on technical and regulatory knowledge with building regulations and best practice on site.

CAREERS
We are looking for a talented Architect [Part 2 or 3]/ Architectural Technologist/Building Surveyor to strengthen our expanding team in Sligo and Dublin.
We are a dynamic, young and growing practice with a varied workload of projects throughout Ireland. The practice has strong experience on medium to large scale residential developments in Dublin and throughout Ireland. The successful candidate will be working in a varied and fast paced environment with a good work/life balance and will have opportunity to gain site construction experience.
Applicants should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
Minimum 3+ years post qualification experience
Project based drawings, documentation and information packages using 2D and 3D computer CAD
Revit experience an advantage
Good presentational/verbal communication skills
Good technical knowledge and practical understanding of the Building Regulations
Experience of producing BCAR technical reports / site inspections an advantage
Ability to work in a team and on one’s own initiative
